Passing the Wandsworth Year 6 Test is not the only way in. Of 240 Year 7 places, 60 go to the girls with the highest test scores, and the other 180 are offered without any reference to the test. Those 180 follow a set order: looked-after children first, then exceptional medical or social need, then siblings, then staff children, then girls living nearest the school. There is no fixed pass mark; the bar for the test-score places shifts each year with demand.
Burntwood uses the Wandsworth Year 6 Test, run by the council over four set dates in late Sep, and your child is given one of them.
